Have you and your mates got what it takes to become the Twilight Football team?

Win the chance to play in the grand final of Sony’s unique Twilight Football event

Sony recently announced its Twilight Football campaign, consisting of seven matches played in seven stunning locations at twilight. As part of the global campaign, a competition to find the one and only Twilight Football team is now open for entries.

Alongside a number of local competitions that potential players can enter, budding Twilight Footballers will have the chance to win a once in a lifetime trip to South Africa to play in the Twilight Football grand final. The Twilight Football team will be sourced using Sony’s existing social media channels, and will compete against a team specially recruited by the football development project, streetfootballworld. Football’s governing body, FIFA, will be supplying the officials for the game. The Twilight Football grand final will be a truly global competition that is open to all.

To be in with a chance of winning this unique opportunity, all teams need to do is visit the Sony Europe Twitter page (http://twitter.com/sonyeurope) and tell Sony, in 140 characters or fewer, exactly why their team to deserves to win. From these entries, a shortlist will be drawn up.

Shortlisted teams will then be asked to provide video footage of themselves showing off their footballing prowess. This footage will be available for all to see on video sharing site YouTubeTM. Chosen by an independent panel of judges, the team with the silkiest skills will then be officially crowned the Twilight Football team.

The official Twilight Football team’s progress will be tracked all the way to South Africa, with regular updates posted onto the official Sony channels on Twitter, Flickr and YouTubeTM.
